First Year End Results Letter

Dear Friends,
2025 has been a stupendous year for the Susquehanna River Art Collection!
In April we created the Friends of the Susquehanna River Art Collection, a new non-profit with a mission to acquire and build an art collection focused on the artistic legacy of the Susquehanna River Valley. It’s been a joy-filled adventurous ride! Since incorporating as a non-profit, we’ve received donated art valued at nearly half a million dollars, we have expanded the collection and refreshed the galleries, highlighting some exciting new acquisitions.
We hired Rob Evans as curator/artist-in-residence, Carol Foley Bolt as administrator, and we’ve engaged art museum consultant Terrie Sultan to professionalize and guide our efforts. We have raised over $300,000 from 10 Founding Friends and are excited to invite you to visit us at the open house. We are a small dynamic Board.
We seek Friends and investors who love the river and who love art to build something extraordinary. We welcome gifts at any level, from becoming a Founding Investor Friend to joining us simply as a supporter who likes to make things happen with their year-end charitable gifts.
Artist and curator Rob Evans has spent his life’s work creating paintings, drawings, and prints focused on the Susquehanna River Valley. He has also explored his artistic roots, shining a light on the Susquehanna’s forgotten but nationally important artistic legacy, curating two major touring exhibits and assembling an extensive collection of historic Susquehanna River art. As Friends, we seek to build on this foundation of his lifetime of expertise. His passion has inspired each of us, including some of you, to make significant gifts. Join us as we build something remarkable. Please use the below links or code if you can give, and we hope you’ll stop by the Open House January 2, 3 or 4 to see us and celebrate the collection.
Happy New Year from your Friends Board!
